Risk Scores

Safeguest assigns every booking a risk level.

Low Risk

Guest is verified and safe to proceed.

Medium Risk

Guest is verified but may require additional review.

Hosts may choose to monitor or request additional verification.

High Risk

Guest is verified but flagged as high risk.

Hosts receive an email notification with additional details regarding the risk score.

Hosts can decide whether to:

• Proceed with the booking
• Request further verification
• Cancel the booking

Verification Statuses

Safeguest returns the following states:

• Green – verified, low risk

• Yellow – verified, medium risk
• Red – verified, high risk
• Pending – verification not completed

NOTE:

Green, Yellow, and Red all mean verification is complete. The difference is only the risk level.

Pending means the guest has not completed verification yet.
