Can I connect any booking platform using Partner iCal?

No. The platform must support iCal (calendar export/import).

If it does not provide an iCal link, it cannot be connected using Partner iCal.

Why can’t I see my platform in the listing's Booking Sites list on Uplisting?

Not all platforms have native integrations in Uplisting.

If your platform is not listed but provides an iCal link, you can still connect it using Partner iCal.

Do I need to connect both ways?

Yes.

Add the external platform’s iCal link to Uplisting
Add the Uplisting iCal link to the external platform

This ensures bookings and availabilities are synced correctly on both sides.

Why aren’t my bookings showing up immediately?

This is usually due to sync timing:

Initial sync may take a few minutes
Some platforms refresh iCal feeds less frequently

Wait a short while and check again.

Can I edit a booking's Price tab or Check-in/Check-out dates in Uplisting?

No. iCal bookings are read-only in Uplisting.

Dates and pricing cannot be modified. Any changes must be made on the original platform.

Why aren’t automated messages being sent?

iCal connections only sync bookings and availabilities..

Features like pricing, automated messages, guest identity verification, rental agreements, and security deposits are not supported for iCal bookings.

Can I still use Uplisting features for iCal bookings?

Yes.

You can manually create a booking in Uplisting for the same dates, add the guest’s details, and mark it as paid.

This allows you to use features like automated messages, guest communication, and security deposits.

What happens if I disconnect the iCal connection?

Future bookings will no longer sync. Existing imported Partner iCal bookings on Uplisting will be permanently lost and cannot be retrieved. You can still access them on the Partner iCal site
