Booking.com Post-Connection Checklist

After connecting your Booking.com properties to Uplisting, some settings still need to be managed directly in your Booking.com extranet. This checklist will help ensure your setup is complete and that everything works as expected.

⚠️ Important: Some settings do not sync automatically between Uplisting and Booking.com. After connecting your property, please review and complete this checklist in your Booking.com Extranet.

  • ✅ Manage Guest Inquiries directly on Booking.com (only confirmed bookings sync)

Detailed Explanations

1. Cleaning Fee

Once Booking.com properties are connected to Uplisting, cleaning fees do not sync from Uplisting to Booking.com. Cleaning fees must be added directly on your Booking.com extranet.

2. Rate Plans

By default, once Booking.com is connected to Uplisting, we only sync to one rate plan. This is the rate plan marked as "mapped from Uplisting" on your Booking.com extranet (usually the Standard Rate plan, though the name may differ).

While it’s possible to have multiple rate plans on Booking.com (non-refundable, weekly, monthly, etc.), these do not automatically inherit restrictions such as:

  • Minimum length of stay
  • Advance notice
  • Closed for arrival/departure

To ensure restrictions apply across all your rate plans, contact your local Booking.com partner support and request that your additional rate plans be linked to the rate plan marked as 'Mapped from Uplisting', on your Extranet

You can say something like:

"I am connected to Uplisting as my channel manager. Uplisting is currently mapped only to my Standard rate (or specify the rate). Please sync the restrictions from the Uplisting-mapped plan to all my other rate plans."

Booking.com support will then confirm once completed. After that, any restriction set in Uplisting will sync across all your rate plans.


3. Discounts & Promotions

Discounts and promotions created in Uplisting will not sync to Booking.com. These must be managed directly in your Booking.com extranet under Promotions.


4. Pet Fees

Pet fees set in Uplisting will not sync to Booking.com. You need to configure these directly in your Booking.com extranet under:
Property > Property Policies


5. Instant Book

Booking.com automatically enables Instant Book once connected to Uplisting. This setting cannot be disabled via Uplisting. If you need changes, please reach out directly to Booking.com support.


6. Guest Inquiries

Guest inquiries sent on Booking.com are not synced to Uplisting. Only messages related to confirmed bookings will appear in Uplisting. You’ll need to manage all pre-booking inquiries directly in the Booking.com extranet.
