Uplisting provides a number of templates to help you get started

We provide 23 message templates to help you get started with automated guest messaging quickly. You can use, edit or delete the templates.

Common templates

  1. New booking: no pre-arrival requirements [5 minutes after booking]
  2. Pre-arrival 1: no pre-arrival requirements [7 days before arrival]
  3. Pre-arrival 2: no pre-arrival requirements [3 days before arrival]
  4. Pre-arrival 3: check-in instructions [1 day before arrival]
  5. Last minute booking: check-in instructions [1 day before arrival and sent to last-minute bookings]
  6. First morning of stay [20 hours after arrival and booking duration is greater than 1 day]
  7. Check-out instructions [16 hours before departure and booking duration is greater than 1 day]
  8. Thanks for staying with us [1 day after departure]

Helpful templates when using pre-arrival features

When you require a guest to verify their identity, sign a rental agreement and pay for a security deposit, it's helpful to automate chasing a guest when they have not performed one or more of those tasks. This is where the templates below are used:

  1. Last minute booking: all pre-arrival requirements [1 minute after booking]
  2. New booking: all pre-arrival requirements [5 minutes after booking]
  3. Reminder 1A: all pre-arrival requirements outstanding [7 days before arrival]
  4. Reminder 1B: requires rental agreement [7 days before arrival]
  5. Reminder 1C: requires security deposit [7 days before arrival]
  6. Reminder 1D: requires guest identity [7 days before arrival]
  7. Reminder 2A: all pre-arrival requirements outstanding [3 days before arrival]
  8. Reminder 2B: requires rental agreement [3 days before arrival]
