How to Create a Booking in the Uplisting Mobile App

Creating a booking on the Uplisting mobile app is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to add a new booking directly from your mobile device.

Our development team had to roll back (remove) this feature in order to fix a significant crashing issue with the mobile app. We hope to have this feature back in to the Mobile app in April 2024

Step-by-Step Guide to Create a Booking

Step 1: Access the Property Calendar

  1. Open the Uplisting app on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the 'Calendar' view and select the property for which you want to create a booking.

Step 2: Select Dates for the Booking

  1. Tap on the desired start date for the booking on the calendar.
  2. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen. Here, select 'Create Booking'.

Step 3: Input Booking Details

  1. You will be presented with a form to fill out the booking details.
  2. Set the check-in and check-out dates. You can adjust the dates by tapping on them and selecting the appropriate dates from the calendar.
  3. Input the number of guests.
  4. Optionally, add the guest's name and other relevant details. Fields like email and phone number can be filled if available.

Step 4: Price Breakdown and Confirmation

  1. Review the price breakdown which is automatically calculated based on your property settings.
  2. Choose the booking status (e.g., confirmed or pending).
  3. Once all details are inputted and reviewed, tap the 'Save' icon on the top right of the screen to confirm the booking.

Step 5: Review the Booking

  1. After saving, the booking will be visible on your property’s calendar.
  2. You can tap on the booking to view details or make further edits.

Additional Notes

  1. Multiple Properties: If you manage multiple properties, you need to create bookings from each property's individual calendar view.
  2. Editing and Cancellation: You can edit the check-in and check-out times and automated messaging in the mobile app, but further editing or deleting a booking needs to be done in the web-app.
