Dynamic tags introduction

Uplisting's dynamic tags insert content into guest messages and saved replies so your messages are always personal and relevant.

Introduction to dynamic tags

Uplisting provides a number of dynamic tags which you can use to automatically insert guest, booking and listing content into automated guest messages and other features.

Which features support dynamic tags?

You can use dynamic tags on most guest-facing features. This includes:

Dynamic tag categories

There are 3 types of dynamic tags. Those are:

1. Message tags
These are preset tags Uplisting provides such as {guest_first_name} and {guest_booking_link}.

2. Custom tags
These are tags you can create yourself and are customisable by individual booking site. For example, you can create a custom check_in_instructions_airbnb tag that will only be sent to Airbnb bookings.

Custom tags can include Message tags within them

3. Custom property attribute tags

Custom listing attribute tags are currently in beta testing

This feature will be released to all members soon

These are tags you can create when you need to provide specific content for each listing. For example, if you have a lockbox for each property, you can create a listing attribute called lock_box_code and then provide a value for that (eg. 38475) on each listing.
