What happens if I already have bookings prior to enabling the Security Deposit feature?
Uplisting will create security deposit links for every relevent booking, but will not send any emails to those guests. If you want to collect security deposits from those guests you can message them the link to pay their security deposit manually.

Accepting the invitation correctly ensures your account is linked to the primary account owner and that you can access the listings and permissions assigned to you.

Set one attribution type per Client/Owner account. It applies to all properties linked to that client.
Statements are monthly and per property. Attribution only determines which bookings are included in each month’s statement (and how much).

Currently, you can't create a changeover event on an ad hoc basis. However, there is a workaround and that is to create a 'dummy' booking to in turn create a changeover task. The screenshot below shows how this looks on your Uplisting calendar.

How to refund the security deposit
For security deposits, Uplisting can pre-authorise or take the full payment. This is based on whether the booking was pre-authorised successfully or not.
Uplisting takes a hold (pre-auth) for all bookings
If the booking is 4 days or longer, Uplisting attempts to re-auth on day 4 (before the hold expires).
If successful, repeat every 4 days.
If unsuccessful, take full payment.
