What is the Smart Locks Dashboard?

Take your keyless entry to the next level with Uplisting Smart Locks Dashboard, which allows you to remotely manage access to your property through our dashboard and the connected smart locks, within Uplisting’s platform. Choose from a wide selection of Wi-Fi and Z-Wave smart locks from August, Yale, Schlage, Kwikset, and others, plus hardwired access control systems from Mercury, HID, and more.

Why activate Smart Locks?

Activating Smart Locks allows you take full control over automating the entire guest check-in process. Uplisting creates a unique door lock code for each guest reservation. The unique door code can be dynamically inserted into your automated guest messages using the {lock_code} message tag.

How does a smart lock work?

A user creates an access schedule from the Smart Locks Dashboard. Then, our software creates a PIN code specific to the lock and the desired schedule. When the PIN is entered into the lock, the lock verifies the code via its built-in algorithm to allow access.

Uplisting and Clearing integrate directly. Clearing is a complete trust accounting and automated bookkeeping solution.

How to connect to Clearing:

Sign-up or log into Clearing here.
Find your Partner API keyon the Connect page> API screen (here).
Copy the API key from Uplisting
Head to 'Integrations' in your Clearing dashboard

Configure your assets from within Clearing.
Complete this step by first naming your assets (or leave them the same as how they are named in Uplisting which will appear automatically). If you want to group properties, for any categorization needs, you can complete that now (this can also be done later). In general, people tend to group their assets by buildings or cities, but the flexibility of Clearing’s platform allows you to group properties however you desire. If a new group is needed, you can create new groups from this step by clicking the plus sign beside the group column title. There is also no requirement to group your properties - it’s completely up to you!

No. You will need to manually add an additional charge or refund if a booking balance is altered.

How to update the photos displayed on the Google

The photos displayed for your listing on the Google page can be added/changed on the Photo's tab of the property on Uplisting.

Click on your property on the calendar > Details > Photos

Google will take random photos to display. This is controlled solely by their internal algorithm. If you re-order or add photos, it will take at least 2-3 weeks for this change to reflect.

The Content & Files tab is where you manage documents uploaded for AI processing. When you upload a document, Uplisting extracts relevant information and automatically generates Q\&A pairs for the Knowledge Center.

Accessing Content & Files

Navigate to Automate → AI Messaging → Content & Files.

Uploading a Document

Click Upload Document (or use the Import button on the Knowledge Center page)
Select a property to associate the document with
Choose your file — supported formats:

How Document Processing Works

Once uploaded, your document goes through these stages:

Pending — File uploaded, waiting to be processed
Processing — Text is being extracted and Q\&A pairs are being generated
Processed — Complete. Q\&A pairs are now available in the Knowledge Center
Failed — Something went wrong. Try re-uploading the file

Why aren't restrictions synced to all rate plans on Booking.com?

In some cases the min length of stay, closed for arrival and closed for departure restrictions aren't synced from the (normally named) Standard rate plan on Booking.com to other rate plans you have created (for example a non-refundable rate plan).

How to ensure all restrictions are synced to all rate plans

Contact your account manager or Booking.com partner support and ask them to attach all rate plans as a child rate to the Standard Rate (ie. the rate plan showing as mapped to Uplisting). The child rate plan will then follow restrictions of the parent Standard Rate.

How do I know which rate plan is connected to Uplisting?

Under 'Price' you'll see Mapped from Uplisting on the rate plan that is connected to Uplisting.
