**Q: What number will the guest see?**\

Uplisting uses a pool of owned phone numbers for SMS messages. Guests will receive messages from the closest regional Uplisting number (US, UK, Australia, or Spain). We intelligently match the number based on the guest’s phone number for better deliverability and cheaper reply rates. See Country Mappings below:

Q: Can hosts share the Uplisting phone number with guests?\
No. All messages are sent from Uplisting-owned numbers. This helps protect hosts’ privacy and ensure centralized communication.


Q: Can hosts share the Uplisting phone number with guests?\
No. Numbers vary by region and are system-managed. Send an SMS first to establish the thread.


**Q: Can all guests receive SMS globally?**\

Most can, but some carriers block international SMS. Failed deliveries will show a warning. Some carriers might limit two-way communication, so guests might not be able to reply.


**Q: What happens if a guest can’t receive SMS?**\

You’ll see a warning in the UI that the message failed. For such a case you can use a different communication method
