Connecting a Custom Domain (Plus plan)


With Plus, your website can live on your own domain (for example, www.yourbrand.com) instead of an Uplisting-hosted address.


Using a domain you already own


  1. On your Uplisting account, select the Direct tab on the left panel
  2. Select 'Create your booking website' > Log in to website builder



  1. In the website editor, go to More → Settings → Site Domain
  2. Click on 'Change site URL' option to enter your new domain




  1. A pop-up window with a list of options will be displayed. Click on the option 'Use a domain you already own (include the www.") . Then click on 'Continue'


  1. DNS confirugation staps will be displayed on the next window. You'll need to confirgure this directly at your domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, IONOS, Cloudflare, etc.), add a CNAME record pointing your domain to s.eu.partnerwebsitedns.com


  1. Once done Republish your site

📘 DNS changes typically take effect within a few hours but can take up to 48 hours. If your registrar supports it, the editor can also connect the domain for you automatically after you log in to your registrar account.
📘 If your DNS has AAAA or CAA records on the domain, remove them first — they can block the SSL certificate from being issued. If you use Cloudflare, set the record to DNS-only (grey cloud).





Buying a new domain


When updating your custom domain within your site editor, you will see the option to Purchase a new domain for your site
Ensure you first search for the domain you want to confirm its availabiliy, before completing the purchase


To proceed:

  1. Select the option to 'Purchase a new domain for your site'
  2. Click on the 'Save' button

  1. A domain-search pop-up menu, will be shown, allowing you to enter and search the domain availability , before purchasing it
  2. In the search field , enter your domain and click the 'Search' button to continue



  1. A list of available domains will be shown. Select the one matching your search criteria, and click on the 'Make it yours' button, next to it
    • You can also select any other domain, from the recommended list




  1. The DNS is configured for you automatically after completing the purchase, so there are no records to set up.


Domain purchases are fulfilled by IONOS, a domain registrar — IONOS bills you directly and handles renewals, and auto-renewal is on by default.
