Creating Popups (Plus plan)
Use popups to promote offers, collect newsletter signups, or highlight announcements.
Popups show once per visitor session, so you won't spam repeat visitors.- In the website editor, go to Pages and open the Popups tab
- Click + New Popups
- Pick a popup type, from the preset list of popups, and click on Next
- You can keep the default pop-up name or give it a preferred name , then click + Add Popup
- You can edit the popup like any page: add text, images, buttons and forms.You can also delete, rename, or duplicate a popup by selecting it under the Popups tab and clicking the Settings (gear) icon.
- Trigger the popup. A popup only appears once you give it a trigger. There are two ways:
- Link to it: Make any button or text element open the popup on click
- Show it automatically: Go to Personalize in the editor, add a rule and choose the Show popup action. You can trigger it immediately, after a delay, on scroll or when the visitor is about to leave, and target by device, location, visit count or campaign URL
- Republish your site to put new popup rules live.
