Automatic or manual assignment

There are two assignment methods depending on how you operate. Automatic or manual assignment.

## Manual assignment

> Use this method when you want to assign a specific cleaner to a cleaning task.

### How to manually assign cleaning tasks

#### The basics

* Changeover events are automatically created for each booking on Uplisting
* Cleaner cannot see or access any changeover until you assign it to them
* Cleaner is only alerted (via email) to new changeovers they have been assigned to

### How to automatically assign cleaning tasks

> Use this method if you have one cleaner, or a cleaning 'group', per listing.

#### The basics

* Changeover events are automatically created for each booking on Uplisting
* Any invited cleaners who have access to a listing can see and access all changeovers on that listing
* Any invited cleaners are alerted (via email) to any new changeovers
