### Additional Fees

**Currency**

You should ensure the currencies you set on booking sites are correct as the values you enter on Uplisting will attach to that currency. There are no currency conversions on Uplisting.

**Base rates**

Entering and saving base rates will sync to booking sites if you don't have any spot (calendar) rates in place.

You can overwrite base rates with spot rates on Uplisting.

**Charges & fees**

**Cleaning fee**

A fixed fee for cleaning per booking regardless of the number of guests or length of stay.

> 🚧 Cleaning Fees for AirBnB Should be Set on Uplisting
> If a Cleaning fee is ***only*** on AirBnB for example, then in some cases this may be overwritten by Uplisting as they will consider the Channel Management Software as the "Source of Truth" for all fees related to a booking.

### Management fees

* General admin fee to cover business expenses
* % of nightly rate, calculated nightly OR flat fee, fixed per booking

### Resort fees

* The cost for additional amenities or services that are provided because the listing is located within a resort or a hotel
* % of nightly rate, calculated nightly OR flat fee, fixed per booking

### Community fees

* Covers cost for building, community, or HOA fees that are associated with short-term rental stays
* % of nightly rate, calculated nightly OR flat fee, fixed per booking

### Linen fees

* The cost for linens or towels to be provided for each guest
* Flat fee, fixed per booking and added to the cleaning fee

**Taxes**

**Property rent tax**

A % tax on the total rental price including extra charges and cleaning fees. Use this for VAT, GST and HST.

**Fixed tax per booking**

A fixed amount added to each booking regardless of the number of guests or length of stay

**Fixed guest tax per-person, per-night**

A fixed amount multiplied by the number of guests

**Fixed nightly tax**

A fixed amount multiplied by the number of nights (irrespective of number of guests)
